Designed by Philippe STARCK around 1982, the "Joe Ship" model was published by Les 3 Suisses and XO. The lacquered metal legs support the top through a "clamp" system, which was available to order in glass, stone, or melamine, round, rectangular, or square, and in various sizes... The legs were also offered in three heights: 35, 56, or 73 cm... This system allowed for multiple variations: dining tables, desks, side tables or consoles, coffee tables, or end tables... This one features a round top in thick clear glass, with a diameter of 120 cm and a height of 73 cm. Excellent condition, consistent with age and use.
