Glass vases by Vallien for Kosta Boda, set of 3

Mid-century Scandinavian modern art glass rainbow vases by Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda, Sweden, 1980s, set of 3. A trio of very nice vintage glass vases known as 'Rainbow' vases made by the talented Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda, Sweden. They all have a white base with an eggshell effect, contrasted with thin strips of strong colours. All are in perfect condition. Vallien is one of Scandinavia’s most talented artists and designers, and his work has become increasingly sought after for its special feeling—simple yet always sophisticated. The tallest vase is 19 cm high, 9.5 cm wide, and 7 cm deep. The second is 14 cm high, 9 cm wide, and 7 cm deep. These vases have an ovoid cylindrical shape (flattened cylinder) and are in perfect condition. The smallest is 8 cm high, 8 cm wide, and 5.5 cm deep, with an oval shape, also in perfect condition. All have maker's marks, are signed, and are sold as a trio.
