19th century bamboo work box and Japanese-style Napoleon III lacquer

Original work box in bamboo and lacquer panels with Japanese decoration. The central part opens with a door and shows a space padded with purple silk. The side parts open and swing on their hinges to form two baskets also lined with silk. Beautiful original condition with discreet restoration on the foot. The object may have had a handle without any trace of it being visible. 45*33*30cm.
