Chimney fire shield

This charming all-metal chimney firewall, in three parts, does not hide its multiple lives: originally it was probably golden, copper or silver perhaps, because these are colors that we see appear under the small gaps of black paint (on some rivets) probably added later. It was decorated with a brass clover (but it is just clipped, it is easy to remove). The three parts are assembled thanks to two metal rods surmounted by a pretty golden oval head (bronze I think). For sending, the three parts will be separated, because without it, the whole does not bend completely, which is also very useful to prevent the firewall from falling backwards. So you will have to reassemble it. It is in good structural condition, the "mesh" is still straight and has no hole, the structure is solid, but the whole has traces of its age and previous lives: the black paint has small gaps, a little surface corrosion at the bottom of the central frame, traces, including black paint on the mesh but also paint of other colors on the frame. So i'm selling it as it is for the moment, but i'm not ruling out the idea, when I have more time, to try to remove the black paint... The central part is 56.5 cm high, 53.5 cm wide. The side parts are 30 cm wide and 49 cm high. The set weighs about 5 or 6 kg. Attention, no shipping between december 16 and 23, 2022.
