Rare piece enfilade/scandinavian hairdresser by the english designer/publisher gplan. Refined style, modernist it is suddenly on a major vintage touch for your interior. Composed of 3 drawers, a mirror and a closet. Very robust and easy mirror hanging system. Very good general condition. Signed piece. Dimension: 112x46 ht x71 mirror: 81x48 and total height 165 cm. For the story... The english furniture manufacturer and publisher g-plan was founded in 1953 by donald gomme. It is more precisely a subsidiary of the company e. Gum ltd owned by his grandfather ebenezer gomme. Donald gomme is convinced that a more modernist, refined and radical aesthetic can have a place in the british market. It is thus aimed at a younger and progressive audience. In the 60s, when scandinavian style and furniture imported from denmark strongly competed with british production, g-plan called on danish designer ib kofod-larsen to design a new collection.
