Each seat features a lightweight four-legged structure in aluminium alloy, on which sits a padded seat and backrest fully covered in red leather. The slightly curved backrest extends seamlessly to the seat, creating a soft shell with particularly clean lines. The two armchairs follow the same construction, complemented by two slender armrests also padded and covered in red leather. The legs, very thin and slightly flared, are left exposed, establishing a contrast between the delicacy of the metal structure and the softness of the leather. Created in the late 1990s by Roberto Barbieri for the Zanotta brand, the Lia model embodies the elegance and rigor of Italian design at the end of the 20th century. Characterised by an airy silhouette drawn in a single stroke, it combines an extremely fine metal base with the softness of red leather upholstery, which softens the lines while highlighting the structure. This cohesive set brings together four chairs and two armchairs with streamlined armrests, offering perfect visual coherence between lightness, technical precision, and comfort.
