Very old Parisian sideboard made entirely of solid wood, simple and straight, oak colour, with numerous signs of time and use revealing its charm and authenticity. The term 'Parisian sideboard' refers to a style of storage furniture that was very popular in Paris and its surroundings, mainly during the 19th century and the early 20th century. This storage furniture is practical and elegant: understated yet with a unique charm. Top made of 2 cm thick pine. 2 drawers with solid brass handles. 2 doors opening onto a large storage space. Bronze lock entries. Functional lock with key. Interior fitted with a shelf measuring 100x35 cm. Shelf and drawer interiors sanded and varnished in a clear matte finish for ease of use and maintenance. Furniture fully treated, free of pests, cleaned and polished. Top recently painted in matte black, patinated and varnished in clear. 2 restored feet on the left side to ensure a solid support. This Parisian sideboard has undergone many effects of the years gone by, with a naturally aged appearance preserved on the sides and front, but its functions are intact.
