Magnificent pair of wall sconces (light arms) in Louis XVI style, made of finely chiselled and gilded solid bronze, dating from the late 19th century (Napoleon III period / early 20th century). This model of great elegance embodies the most refined neoclassical codes: the central structure features a bundle of quivers suspended by a wide draped ribbon knot, ending in tassels. The two light arms, fluted and sinuous, support bowls adorned with acanthus leaves and drip pans with twisted gadroons. Heavy bronze, with exquisite chiselling and a very beautiful original patina. Stamped with the founder's initials "AD" and marked with the model number "2629" on each sconce, guaranteeing high-quality craftsmanship from the period. Overall excellent condition. Superb gilded patina, minimal signs of use that attest to their authenticity. Not electrified (original system for candles, easy electrification possible).
