Pie dish, porcelain from limoges, from the former royal factory, "elysée" model. When louis-philippe moved to the palais des tuileries, he commissioned a new service from the manufacture de sèvres (1832), marking his desire to distinguish himself from his predecessors. Beautifully soft, the décor is composed of a frieze of golden palms on an "agate blue" background. The national museum of ceramics of sèvres retains the original of this service, so it is a reproduction, handmade. Faïence in excellent condition.
