Vintage Seguso Murano Amber Crackle Glass Shade 1950s-60s

The glass itself is the star: thick, heavy, entirely organic in character, blown by hand into a low dome form with scalloped edges. The surface is covered in the characteristic crackle finish — a dense network of fine fissures captured within the glass during the rapid cooling process — giving the amber surface a texture that suggests ancient ice, cracked earth, or the surface of a dried riverbed.
