Vintage baumann desk + chair

Baumann desk and chair, typical of the 50s and 60s. The blond wood desk has an original top, in excellent condition (no stains, no scratches) in cream-colored formica wood veining, set with a black field, and tapered compass feet. It has a central drawer and a storage compartment, including two removable shelves. The gilded metal handles are also original but a little tarnished by time. The baumann mondor-type chair with a low backrest, the brand's emblematic model, is made of blond wood, equipped with compass legs and a curved backrest. Some traces of time are visible, including two brown spots on the backrest (see photos), and a small black ink stain on the seat. Two beautiful emblematic pieces of the 50s/60s, in excellent condition. Rare set! Chair dimensions: seat height: 46 cm; backrest height: 71cm; seat diameter: 40 cm.
