The small hollowed out hearts that partially encircle the bell let the light pass for a charming rendering as soon as it is lit. Bought in 1981, of good quality, it is of french manufacture. Used since its purchase it is in perfect working order. It has a very small chip of 2mm by 8mm under a wavelet at the base of the ceramic, which has been repainted with white acrylic paint and totally invisible when the suspension is in place.
