1950s reading lamp – Formica and gold metal

Elegant reading floor lamp from the 1950s, featuring a particularly original modernist design. Its tubular structure in gilded metal creates a graphic composition with rounded lines. The lower part includes a magazine rack, while a dark wood-effect Formica shelf serves as a small side table. The textured golden border delicately highlights the top. The long vertical stem extends to the lampshade, giving the whole piece a slender silhouette characteristic of post-war lighting furniture. The contrast between the dark Formica, gilded metal, and textile lampshade creates a very decorative ensemble, perfectly suited to a Mid-Century, vintage, or contemporary interior.
