Oil lamp glass & ceramics sky blue art deco style

Vintage kosmos brenner kerosene lamp in sky blue slip. Its magnificent décor borrows a design of the louis XVI style: flowers, as well as very sentimental symbols, figures of love like swans. It is composed of a cylindrical earthenware tank to contain kerosene, a sandblasted glass chimney and a kosmos brass burner burner. "kosmos was the most popular burner in europe invented in 1865 in the uk by wild and wessel (from berlin), the name "kosmos" started in 1875 and lasted until 1903 when the company was taken over by hugo schneider.
