In the late 1960s and early 1970s, a series of elegant and modern furniture from this manufacturer was launched in England. Designed according to current trends, they feature details also found in brands such as G-Plan, as illustrated by the beautiful handles. They also feature many influences from the then-popular Scandinavian design. One such new method, for example, was the application of "lamination," replacing traditional veneer. Mechanically printing wood in a plastic material allows for a very neat result at a lower cost. This process is comparable to that of laminate, a still popular type of flooring, which is very colorful, hard-wearing, and requires little maintenance. The "Manchester" model is in perfect used condition, still beautiful and full of character. It comes from its first English owners and was still in use there until spring 2025. Of course, some traces of use, accumulated over the last 60 years, are visible, but in our opinion, they do not really hinder the functionality of the piece of furniture.
