Large bowl on pedestal Daum Nancy – Lakeside landscape 1910

Superb and authentic large polylobed bowl on a pedestal signed Daum Nancy with the Cross of Lorraine, made around 1910 at the height of the Art Nouveau period. Made of multilayer glass (glass paste) worked hot and acid-etched in cameo, it features a sublime decor of a lakeside landscape: majestic trees, reflections on the water, an orange sky tinged with red and brown, in warm and deep tones typical of the finest Daum productions. Delicate signature engraved with a wheel around the rim: "Daum Nancy" and Cross of Lorraine. Workshop production number in gold at the bottom: 3391. Dimensions: diameter of the neck approximately 18.5 cm, diameter of the pedestal 10 cm, total height 16 cm, weight approximately 1500 g. Very good overall condition, vibrant colours and preserved brilliance, with some slight signs of use normal for a century-old piece. A rare and emblematic piece from the Daum glassworks in Nancy, in very good condition, valued between €1500 and €2500.
