Great large 1st edition spaghetti vase, designed and personally realised by Gaetano Pesce in 1995 for Fish Design. These 1st edition vases are very rare and hard to find. A unique piece made of polyurethane resin. The ink stamp that was on it has been erased over time. With it comes the booklet 'Le Temps des Questions', that was made in very limited quantities for the exhibition in the Centre Pompidou in Paris 1996. The vase is in very good original condition. The booklet has some traces of use, nothing to be worried about though. The retrospective exhibition "Le temps des questions" (The Time of Questions) by Italian architect and designer Gaetano Pesce was held at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. The exhibition, which ran from July 3rd to October 7th, highlighted Pesce's creative and groundbreaking approach, experimenting with new materials and techniques. “Fish Design” collection: Fish Design was born in New York in 1995 from an idea by Gaetano Pesce. From colored and translucent resins, the artist creates a collection of vases, trays, mirrors, baskets and jewelry that he personally realizes until 1999. From 2000 to 2010, the first Fish Design editions on models and under the artistic direction of Gaetano Pesce are launched. Each year, the different models receive new color combinations and are offered to collectors in the form of numbered and dated limited series. These editions are recognizable by the Fish Design stamp independent of that of the artist and due to the manufacturing process, each piece is a unique original. From 2011 until today, the editions “Fish Design by Gaetano Pesce” become industrial series and pass under the artistic and commercial direction of Andréa Corsi.
