A set of four Model 210 chairs, manufactured by the Danish firm Farstrup Møbler in the 1950s. These chairs are a quintessential example of Scandinavian modernism, combining simplicity of form and functionality with meticulously crafted joinery details. The frames are constructed from beech wood, while the wide, contoured backrests are made of teak. The distinctive shape of the backrests—featuring gently raised, rounded ends—gives the chairs an elegant silhouette and provides comfortable back support. The light-colored upholstery creates a subtle contrast with the warm tones of the wood, lending the chairs a light and harmonious appearance. The set has undergone professional restoration, covering both the woodwork and the upholstery. The wooden components were stripped of their original finish, stained in an oak tone, and protected with a semi-matte lacquer. This finish highlights the natural wood grain and the carefully sculpted structural details. During the upholstery restoration, the internal padding of the seats was replaced, and a new, cream-colored fabric was applied. As a result, the chairs retain their original form while benefiting from refreshed, comfortable seating. The chairs have been professionally restored and are ready for use.
