Painting "The cage" - François Boucher - excellent condition

We are selling a reproduction (painted and varnished image) of the famous painting by françois boucher entitled "la cage", the original of which is in the bayeux museum. This rural painting, representing a shepherd courting a shepherdess, is highlighted by a superb wooden frame, carved and gilded, in very good condition. Painted in 1763, "the cage" is a work which is part of the series of pastorals, one of the favorite themes of the painter protected by king louis XV and his favorite, the marquise de pompadour.
