1930s Oshkosh suitcase with bakelite hangers

Travel suitcase from the us oshkosh brand, a superb vintage and decorative object dating from the 1930s. Luxury manufacturing with initials engraved in golden letters, wb, initials of its owner who once stayed in Tunis, as evidenced by this majestic label hotel. Parchment exterior covering lined with leather, with leather handle, silk interior with a judicious system of removable bakelite hangers marked oshkosh. The key was not lost, the locks still work. Good condition with some traces of time, leather in places a little threadbare, and interior flap to be sewn up near one corner (see photo). A suitcase full of stories, travels and cruises...
