A pair of large porcelain cups and their saucers, featuring a typically Art Deco design: faceted geometric shapes, radiating lines highlighted by a fine silver rim. The angular, slightly elongated handles enhance this modernist aesthetic of the 1930s. The green stamp on the base CB & Cie likely corresponds to Compagnie Cirot-Gadouin, based in Vierzon (Cher). In beautiful vintage condition, shiny, with slight signs of use, and micro-wear on the silver rim in places (see photos). Cups: height 6 cm, diameter 11.5 cm. Saucers diameter 17.5 cm. A graphic presence for a minimalist and contrasting table.
