Old console in solid cherry wood - rustic Louis XV style

An old console with typically rustic chic lines. Its undeniable charm lies in its curved shapes but especially in its checkerboard top, a unique detail that captures light and reveals the richness of the wood. Completely cleaned, treated, and restored in my workshop, the console has been protected with Libéron Antique Wax to preserve its natural patina. The lower shelf, painted in a cream shade and then varnished, adds a brighter and more contemporary touch. The old traces of woodworm passage testify to its authenticity and history. Today, this console is a unique decorative piece full of charm and presence, ideal for an entrance, a living room, or a bedroom.
