Nils Thorsson (1898-1975), the creator of the baca series for aluminia and Royal Copenhagen, also designed the abstract decoration of this earthenware vase, dated between 1969 and 1974. The word baca meaning "ring, " so its signature appears in the circle below the base of the coin.
