Here is a very beautiful candlestick combining two quality materials: a silver-plated metal for the upper and lower parts (possibly tin according to some sources), and an intermediate piece, the shaft, made of lucite (or plexiglass), so transparent that I initially thought it was glass or crystal. Thanks to this piece, the candlestick seems to almost float in the air. Its elegant lines and the juxtaposition of two quality materials make it a timeless piece, one that will find its place both on a mantelpiece in a Haussmannian apartment and on a festive table or even on a Scandinavian sideboard. This candlestick could be of Italian manufacture from the 1960s or 70s. It is in good overall condition; the lucite shows no chips or scratches and is perfectly transparent, while the metal has a slight patina of time: small, barely visible marks. The base has a piece of felt. This candlestick measures 15.5 cm in height, its square base measures 7 cm on each side, and the candle holder measures approximately 2.2 cm in diameter.
