Persian carpet Bakhtiar 219x145 cm

Bakhtiar persian carpets. Bakhtiar nomads dwell in the zagros mountains west of the city of isfahan around the city of shar-e-kurd. Their carpets are known for their designs of different repetitive squares in which flowers or animals are represented, hence the origin of the name of this motif "garden" (khesti). Their carpets are also very resistant with a very good quality persian wool weave from sheep raised at high altitude. Very good condition.
