Fireplace XVIII° black marble louis XIV style with narrowed and floor slabs

Imposing fireplace in belgian black marble of mazy without complete veining of its interior, and with its paving. Full of character by its shape and movement, it measures 152cm wide, 37.5cm deep (at the level of the tray) and 102.5cm high. From the eighteenth century, we offer it entirely original, with its narrowed (which you can decide not to reuse according to the desired configuration) in metal painted in black (we left the original paint somewhat marked) framed by 2 brass moldings (which we did not want to polish, but this can be done if you wish). Missing is the bronze utensil holder on the right. It has its frame of 3 panels that rise and fall using two finely chiseled bronze handles on the front, operating a sliding weight system with a chain in two tubes concealed at the back of the narrowed (hidden in the masonry). Open frame, the fireplace is 68.5cm wide and 55cm high. It also has its floor slab consisting of 4 marble slabs adjusted to the cutting of the jambs. Both sides are equipped with their brassed ventilation outlet. Its thick top (4cm), boldly molded on several levels, elegantly tops this beautiful fireplace. Of very beautiful workmanship, it is astonishing in modernity with this marble so black and so deep, enhanced by its bronze and brass elements. Complete of all its elements, it has been completely dismantled by us, and is in a very beautiful condition, some minimal shocks due to its age are nevertheless to be reported, visible in the photos.
