Gas stove protectors / large vintage enamel trivet The Creuset

Vintage mid century rectangular enameled stove protectors/large trivets by le creuset, france, circa 1950s. The pieces are cast iron and feature a stunning blue and white enamel top reminiscent of the dutch delft tile design (see photos). The feet/stands are cast iron. The pieces are in good original and vintage condition, with light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, and a patina of time, to the overall structure, micro scratches to the tops, corners and bottoms as appropriate. Expected for pieces of this age (see photos). Small areas of old rust/marks of time, to the edges, (see photos.) there are no cracks to the enamel tops. The pieces are solid and heavy. They have only been gently cleaned in keeping with the original patina of time. A maker's mark is present (see photo.) can be used as originally intended as a stove top cover/stove protector to rest your dishes, baked goods from the oven, as a large trivet, kitchen island decor, vintage and contemporary rustic kitchen decor.
