A rare contemporary design by the italian designer luigi gorgoni for the french furniture house roche bobois. Luigi gorgoni designed a series of remarkable furniture for roche bobois during the 80s and the théorème table is one of them. The théorème table is characterized by its strong geometrical contrasting shapes. The foot is created out of 2 triangle shaped cherry wood veneered logs that are placed in a 45 degree angle, with a crossing glass plate in a same 45 degree angle. The top consists of layered glass, directly placed on top of the foot. The théorème table is quite a rare find since they were only produced in small numbers during the 80s. Certainly a design that will become more appreciated over time. The table is in a good vintage condition with a present chip in the glass that will be repaired as much as possible before sale.
