Office of czech designer rudolf vichr bauhaus produced by vichr & co. The bauhaus movement was born following the great war in 1919 and brought together multiple disciplines including architecture, design and art as a whole. It was walter gropius who founded the movement and defined its principles. This desk is made up of a magnificent base in tubular chrome metal typically bauhaus, a suspended box of 3 drawers and a superb beech top. Indeed the tray reveals a charming veining. It is also particularly deep offering a beautiful workspace. The office is in a very good condition, it has been restored.
