Falcon chair design 70 sigurd ressell. Norwegian interior designer and industrialist sigurd ressell (also spelled resell) was particularly active during the 1950s and 1960s and is best known for his collaboration with vatne møbler, which resulted in the famous falcon chair. The chair was so successful that a wooden version was produced. The first, more luxurious metal version is much rarer. The chair is in good general condition. The fabric seat has suffered wear and fraying in two places, and in two other places light wear. The cushion was originally made of leather (it is possible to make a leather one on request).
