Helena Tynell & Heinrich Gantenbrink for Glashütte Limburg, pendant lamp/glass and metal. Pendant lamp, made in Germany around 1960. Beautiful pendant lamp in bubble glass. Of great class, the hand-blown amber/tonic glass gives a wonderful warm glow. Helena Tynell is a glass and ceramic designer. She studied at the School of Arts in Helsinki from 1943 to 1946. She was one of the most influential designers at the Riihimäki Lasi glass company. Her works were exhibited from 1954 to 1960 (12 editions) at the Triennale in Milan, Zurich, Amsterdam, and London. She worked as an independent designer for the glassworks of Flygsfors, BEGA Leuchten, Glashütte Limburg, and Fostoria glass. Good vintage condition.
