Louis XV style dresser made of solid wood from the 1920s.

Work table or writing table in neo-Louis XV style, probably made in the late 19th or early 20th century. It is an elegant accent piece that was historically used by ladies to store sewing, embroidery, or correspondence supplies. The mobile top opens with hinges to reveal a compartmented interior and a mirror fixed under the flap. The top and lower shelf feature a Hungarian point or chevron pattern, creating a beautiful geometric effect with the wood grain. The apron is richly carved with motifs of fluting and foliage. The legs are referred to as cabriole or curved, typical of the Louis XV style, and are adorned with fine carvings along their length. A stretcher shelf connects the four legs to stabilise the structure while providing additional storage space. In good condition and sturdy.
