Superb ceramic vase from the 1950s, made by Silberdistel Keramische Werkstätten in West Germany. Its rounded conical shape with an off-center opening is covered with a white crackle glaze, decorated with abstract geometric patterns in yellow, pink, blue and turquoise, outlined with graphic black lines. A fine example of modernist design and an ideal collector's item for lovers of German midcentury ceramics.
