Trompe-l'œil centrepiece plate handcrafted in Andalusia, featuring a pyramidal accumulation of realistic figs. Made using the traditional bread crumb technique, it displays precise botanical modelling with detailed pigmentation in green and purple tones simulating different stages of ripeness. The textured surfaces reproduce natural striations, openings, and seeds. The sculptural composition rests on a rustic glazed terracotta plate with geometric slip bands on the rim. Dated to the 1950s, it shows some minor restoration interventions on a few leaves.
