Turtle-shaped flower holder

Magnificent vintage centrepiece / flower holder in the shape of a turtle, typical of decorative design from the 1950s to 1970s. The shell is made of thick, heavy, clear pressed glass, offering beautiful depth and a luminous effect ideal for low floral arrangements. The body, head, and legs are made of dense, stable silver chrome metal, creating an elegant contrast between metallic shine and the transparency of the glass. An iconic piece from the mid-20th century, in the spirit of productions from the Verrerie de Reims, highly sought after in vintage decoration and table art.
