We are offering for sale this immense restored Victorian library dating from 1860-1880, made of pine and oak, based on the original design by Samuel Pepys from 1666, forming part of a large suite. This piece has been restored with deep cleaning, waxing, and hand polishing. It includes a removable custom extension at the back. The dimensions are: Height 284.5 cm, Width 387 cm at the top (369.5 cm at the base), Depth 70.5 cm including the back extension (62 cm without the extension). Each piece of wood is hand-carved, offering exquisite craftsmanship rarely seen in furniture from this period. New keys will be provided before shipping.
