Fruit and vegetable cup in trompe l'oeil ceramic late 19th

From my personal collection: beautiful and rare trompe l'oeil fruit and vegetable cup in glazed slurry probably dating from the late 19th century. We can guess this antiquity from the technique used to paint the elements (without airbrush) and the way in which we executed the details. The rare side of this model is that it is a ceramic cup with 4 feet in the shape of acanthus sheets (we find very easily these trompe l'oeil ceramics in the form of braided baskets, usually of italian manufacture, or cuts on pedestal. I haven't found another one with feet like this. There are no marks on the ceramic to identify it; 18th or 19th century ceramics were not always identified unfortunately. The cut, given the total weight of 2.7kgs, seems to me sandstone (the earthenware being much lighter). There are inevitably gaps, especially the pieces of vine leaves but the fruits and vegetables are intact; these deficiencies are not visible unless they are carefully researched; the cut being quite voluminous, it makes its effect placed on a piece of furniture or in the center of the table (29 cm l -- 25 cm depth -- 19 cm height). The piece was washed with a brush and soapy water, which made its shine to the slurry; this cleaning was necessary, the room being covered with a layer of black and yellowish grime when I discovered it. It is therefore ready to be placed in any style of decoration. Don't miss this rare and ancient piece!.
