Side table in blue and black with curved legs

Period: ca. 1st half 20th century. This side table has a very elegant shape thanks to its slender curved legs. Still, the design is quite original with round openings of the lower level. There is a small drawer on one side with a rococo style metal handle; the other side has a matching handle but no drawer. The upper edge of the table has a serpentine shape. This oak table needed restoration. The body and feet are painted in a glossy blue lacquer and the top is painted in a matte black color just like the inside of the lower level. The handles are also black. Status: good. Restored and painted. The table tilts very slightly to one side. It is an older object and so there are some surface irregularities in the wood under the paint layer (i.e. It is not as smooth as an item that has just come out of a factory). Dimensions: 67 cm high, 40 X 33 cm shelf, 4.5 kg.
