Brown painted wooden workshop stool with handle

Workshop stool in painted brown wood, France, first half of the 20th century. Seat made of three slatted boards with an oblong handle, angled legs and a low pegged stretcher. The brown paint is worn at the corners and on the seat, with splashes of white paint indicating its workshop life; the wood is sound and the stool is stable.
