1950s Lounge chair by Luigi Ercolani for Ercol, UK

A beautiful grande lounge chair designed by Luigi Ercolani, manufactured by Ercol in the United Kingdom. The piece has a stained beech wooden base, beautifuly finished with a nice curvy design and executed in a warm brown colour. It has a tall backrest for extra comfort and is upholstered in fine two-toned purple fabric, creating a nice luxurious style that would make this piece a valuable addition to any interior. It remains in very good vintage condition with minor signs of wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
