Decorative amphora vase in deep blue glazed ceramic, with twin handles – 37 cm. A ceramic piece with a sculptural character, remarkable for its elongated silhouette and unique proportions. Its tapered body, with generous curves, extends into a long, narrow neck, subtly constricted before flaring into a delicately edged opening. Two twin handles, designed in wide, elongated loops, rise on either side of the neck before joining the body in a continuous movement. Their ample and symmetrical design contrasts with the delicacy of the neck and accentuates the verticality of the composition. The whole rests on a slightly overhanging circular base, which anchors the silhouette and gives it an elegant stance. The glossy glaze, in a deep blue with shades of petrol and midnight blue, reveals subtle plays of light and chromatic variations that highlight the volumes. A few darker shades, with brownish accents, punctuate the surface and the rim. A decorative piece with a strong presence, whose line evokes the amphora reinterpreted in a modernist spirit, balancing the rigour of the silhouette with the sensuality of the curves. Unsigned piece.
