Renovated antique bedside table

This bedside table from the mid-20th century, with elegant lines and cabriole legs inspired by Louis XV, has been completely renovated in the workshop to give it a second life. Its fluid classic lines, scalloped top, and curved legs provide a beautiful visual lightness. The legs and structure are made of solid wood for perfect sturdiness, assembled with side panels and a back made of period plywood. A large open niche offers a nice practical storage space for everyday use. In the workshop, the piece has been thoroughly cleaned and sanded. The structure and the inside of the niche have been painted in a deep matte finish in an intense Burgundy / Claret shade, adding character and elegance. The upper wooden top has been left raw, lightly stained with walnut husk, and then protected with antique wax from Libéron. A carefully renovated antique piece. It retains a few slight marks from its past, which give it all its charm and authenticity.
