GE290 armchair by Hans J. Wegner for Getama in oak

GE-290 model armchair made by the great Danish designer Hans J. Wegner distributed by Getama from 1953. Its oak structure was completely sanded then a soaped finish was applied to it as originally. The two cushions forming the seat and back are covered in the original pistachio green kvadrat fabric, “Hallingdall” model, the most high-end Danish fabric, still used today. Beyond its sleek and visually pleasing line, it is extremely comfortable. This is a first edition in excellent condition. Dimensions: 78x75x73 Seat height 38
