Marsala armchair set - Michel Ducaroy for Ligne Roset

Set of two armchairs model marsala designed by michel ducaroy for ligne roset in the 70s. Shells in translucent brown thermoformed altuglas. The little extra lies in the possibility of bringing together the two armchairs in a two-seater sofa thanks to its removable altuglas bridge which allows to make only one seat. Seat and back cushions in black leather (re-tinted and nourished) Very good condition. Made in france. For the record: michel ducaroy will devote 26 years of his life to the head of the design department of ligne roset. The marsala is one of his first models dating from the 60s-70s using the new materials of the time, such as thermoformed plastic. A low and soft seat allowing optimal comfort.
