Walnut armchair, louis XVI style. It is covered with a yellow fabric with studded finishes. Its coating, in a state of use, is lined with floral friezes in orange and green hues. The backrest is reversed, the windings with eyes in volutes. The seat is at pelote sur sangles and squared. The front crossbeam is noticeably concave. The armrests are equipped with cuffs. They are plumb and supported by consoles in balusters. The latter are extended by angles with rosette decorations and fluted feet. Where these two feet of the front are tapered, those of the rear are sabres. We will appreciate the generous dimensions of this bicentennial armchair, which can be rejuvenated by a furnishing fabric in harmony with both his desires and his decoration. ******** Period: early nineteenth.
