Danish teak wall unit by Poul Cadovius for CADO

This single-column shelving system by Danish designer Poul Cadovius offers its owners maximum flexibility. The individual modules can be easily positioned by hooking them onto the wall rails, allowing the unit to be effortlessly adapted to specific needs. The teak version has a warm, inviting look, with the reddish wood pairing perfectly with bold colors. This configuration consists of a cabinet with hinged doors, a drop-front desk unit, and two shelves. The shelving system was designed by Danish designer Poul Cadovius, who—in addition to shelving systems—also created sideboards, chairs, dining tables, desks, and coffee tables, primarily using teak and rosewood, tropical timber varieties that were highly popular in the 1960s. The shelf shows slight signs of wear consistent with age - the typical vintage patina. The Cabinet and desk element are restored.
