This set of four chairs was designed by Ludvík Volák for Dřevopodnik Holešov in the 1960s–1970s. The model represents a distinctive example of Czechoslovak modern design, characterised by its sculptural construction in bent plywood. The frames are made of moulded plywood with a warm wood tone, showing a slight patina. The chairs have been newly reupholstered in a blue-turquoise fabric, providing a clean and uniform surface to the set. The four pieces are structurally sound and stable. The combination of original wooden elements and new upholstery reflects a careful preservation of the design. Specifications: Design: Ludvík Volák. Origin: Czechoslovakia.
