Suspension Space age in plexiglass by Philippe Rogier for Oxar, France 1970

Very nice and rare pendant light from around 1970. A model completely in the Space Age spirit of that time by French designer Philippe Rogier, published by Oxar France. It consists of a cylindrical body in chrome metal (diameter 5 cm and height 13 cm) supporting a very beautiful cylindrical lampshade in smoked plexiglass in cognac tones (diameter 21 cm and height 10 cm) with three chrome rods. The porcelain socket is adjustable within the body to accommodate the style of bulb used. The white plastic ceiling rose has been replaced (diameter and height 7 cm). The light fixture is height adjustable by the wire up to 70 cm. Sold with its bulb. In superb condition, there are just a few micro-scratches on the plexiglass that are imperceptible when the pendant is in place, whether it is on or off. Very original, it will bring a true design touch to your interior. At the time of listing, the matching ambient lamp is also for sale in my shop. Not to be missed for a total look!!!
