Chamrousse chair by Charlotte Perriand

Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999). Armchair Chamrousse or n°21. This armchair comes from the Megève sector, emptying of a 1960's period apartment. The armchair underwent a total renovation by an art cabinet maker including a complete dismantling / re-gluing which gives it a perfect stability and a long second life. The seat straw is completely new made of marsh straw, which explains its green color which will disappear in a few months. The backrest is original, a resumption was carried out to repair a slight fragility (2 central glass lines). Legs and structure in solid ash, seat and backrest in weaving of marsh straw straw as originally. Very good general condition.
