Vintage Mid-Century Ercol model 994 ‘Golden Dawn’ Windsor sofa

A mid-century vintage 1950s-60s Ercol Windsor2 seat sofa designed by Lucian Ercolani - Ercol’s founder and designer. The solid beech frame has a 'Golden Dawn' dark finish, a distinctive characteristic of Ercol's furniture from that era. The chair features a rounded spindle-back with curved armrests and splayed turned legs connected by a stretcher. The original cushions have been reupholstered in white bouclé fabric, replacing the original floral pattern. A matching armchair is also available. Size. Width 132cm. Depth of frame 85cm. Depth to cushion edge 90cm. Height of frame 82. Height to cushion edge 90cm. Material. Beech. Bouclé. Condition: Excellent Mid-Century condition with only minor signs of age and use.
